Senate passes Bill S-205
Bill now moves to The Commons
CANASB Pursuing all party sponsorship in the House
On June 10th the Senate, with the support of the government, Liberals and independents, unanimously passed Senator Jerry Grafstein's Bill S-205, which makes suicide bombing an explicit crime, and it is now in the House of Commons.
Prime Minister Harper told CANASB that the Government will support Bill S-205 in the House. An all party group is being formed to support it.
Our distinguished List of Prominent Canadians now includes five former Prime Minsters.
